Assembly of Delegates

The Assembly of Delegates (AOD) is a group of elected chapter members whose purpose is to provide input on items of interest for the Association as it relates/impacts their state and prioritize ideas for position statements to be sent to writing groups.


Washington state has 2 Delegates. Delegates will meet in online forums throughout the year and then in person at the Assembly of Delegates during the National Convention. 


Submission Process:

Topics must be submitted on the appropriate form and sent to the Assembly of Delegates Advisory Committee (AODAC) Moderator and Assembly of Delegates Advisory Committee staff liaison.


Position statement proposal:  A position statement proposal can be submitted by a professional AMTA member or the Board of Directors.

Discussion topics:  A discussion item may be submitted by any interested individual or group associated with the massage therapy profession.


The 2018 Submission Deadline is May 16, 2018

for Topics that will be discussed and voted on at the 2018 National Convention in Washington DC. 


2018 Delegates to the Assembly

There were no candidates for delegate in this year's election. Delegates will be appointed/elected by the chapter board, in accordance with bylaws.
