26th Annual Scott Firefighter Stairclimb

The AMTA Washington Community Service Massage Team (CSMT) will be providing massage this year at the 25th Annual Scott Firefighter Stair Climb which is happening on March 6th at the Columbia Tower in downtown Seattle. These firefighters raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. They climb the stairs in full gear with air tanks.

Time:  Sunday, March 12,  8 AM – 4 PM approximate end time.

 

Please note:  You must be an AMTA member / AMTA Student to attend. You have to log into the site to sign up.  If you have any issues signing up contact Michael secretary@amta-wa.org

The AMTA Washington Community Service Massage Team (CSMT) will be providing massage this year at the 25th Annual Scott Firefighter Stair Climb which is happening on March 6th at the Columbia Tower in downtown Seattle.  These firefighters raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  They climb the stairs in full gear with air tanks.

 

In 2016 the event featured 1,900 firefighters from over 330 different departments and brought in a record $2.2 million dollars for blood-cancer research. The Scott Firefighter Stair Climb supports the mission of the by raising money through sponsorship, individual and department fundraising, and entry fees. This is an all-volunteer event and we need as many massage therapist that can come and provide massage to these athletes.

 

Food

Some of the concession stands will be open during this event.  You should bring snacks as well as water to stay hydrated.

  

Tables

Please bring a table including a bungee cord to hold the table paper.  We will provide everything else for you.  If you can’t bring a table but would like help, please let us know in the notes when you register.

  

 

Parking

Parking is free at the Columbia Center. The entrance is located on Columbia Street between 4th and 5th Avenue.
